2011-2012 Directory and Volunteer Form
Greetings parents,
Please find the 2011-2012 directory and volunteer form here.
Thank you for using this on-line version.
- Allison Cooper, PTO Communications Director
Welcome
Dear Parent
Welcome to Hoover-Wood Elementary School and to its Parent-Teacher Organization. All parents and guardians of Hoover-Wood students are members of the PTO.
The Hoover-Wood PTO supports classroom learning; improves school grounds; encourages a positive learning environment; builds communication between parents, teachers, the principal and administration, and community; and promotes fun and educational opportunities for children and families. The PTO also conducts fund raisers to support all of its endeavors on behalf of the students and families of Hoover-Wood, and to pay for school programs and purchases on behalf of Hoover-Wood which would not otherwise be provided by the District. The PTO is self-supporting, and receives no funds from the Batavia Public Schools.
Volunteers are the life-blood of the PTO and are always needed. Please know that any amount of time spent volunteering is truly appreciated. Every family’s contribution matters, and ensures that the PTO can make great things happen for our children.
Sincerely,
the board of Directors
